Oxford and Cambridge lead UK way in global rankings

Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s annual Academic Ranking of World Universities was released this month, with the Oxbridge pair of Oxford and Cambridge both leading the UK way.
University of Cambridge continued their success at the summit of the table, with a spokesperson saying: “This reflects the fact that we are among the most respected and influential higher education institutions in the world, with a portfolio of world-leading research.”
The one major change to the top ten was the entrance of the University of Warwick, who rose 96 places to place 92nd in the world and feature in the top ten overall.

- University of Oxford
- University College London
- The Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine
- University of Manchester
- University of Edinburgh
- King’s College London
- University of Bristol
- University of Warwick
- London School of Economics and Political Science
